About Me

Robert J. Williams

Editing Room Assistant/ Assistant Editor

After graduating from Rock Valley College with both an Associate of Arts degree and a Media Production Specialist Certification, I decided to get coffee for people. Actually that’s a lie, I got them lunch too. Becoming an assistant editor is a very exhausting task, but I don’t mind because in the end I’m doing what I love – post production. I’m currently working on my B.A. in Multimedia Communications and assistant editing on documentaries, TV shows and feature films in the Chicago area.

I’m a world traveler. I’ve been to 7 different countries, 40 states and have white water rafted past the mountain in the Paramount Pictures logo. If I’m not traveling, then you can probably find me playing a bass guitar or fixing some sort of electrical device.

Cool! Thanks for the inspiration. I’m working on a masters and help train some of the undergrads to edit (funny, I edit news mostly but would love to try other stuff). Keep up the good work and yes… editing is fun!

  4. Good blog, just found it! And I saw a story of my friend Elissa on the front page, ha. Awesome. I Assist Edit T.V. features at the moment…and play in a band as well 🙂 Keep it up!
